A company with facilities in Fort Worth, Alpheus Communications, has announced that they will be investing more than $10 million in the Texas area, particularly in new jobs to support its broadband and fiber networking services.
The company expects that their workforce will increase by 30% over the next year, especially customer service, sales and technical staff. The expansion is part of the company's growth plans for the coming year.
Alpheus wants to expand its fiber network beyond the 88,000 buildings in the Texas state which already use its infrastructure. The extent of its network means that it is the perfect choice for companies which want high speed connections between multiple locations.
Scott Widhan from Alpheus has commented that they are making the huge investment in the people and technology because they want to take the company to the next level. He hopes that a dense fiber network can be created in its main markets which includes Fort Worth.
Widham says that the company already has great fiber assets and is a major provider of networking solutions. He expects that they company can give Texas businesses what they want - high quality and affordable telecommunications services. He points out that the company is committed to giving a devoted service to their customers and that it is important to have a personal approach. He believes that is something which other companies cannot match.
Business which sign up to the Alpheus service can expect Metro Ethernet services, dedicated Internet access, seven data centers with robust security features and business voice services.
